Henda Lee Emmons, 95, Glasgow, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Signature Health Care Center. A native of Hazard, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Tilton Wilson and Sue Godsey Combs Wilson. She was a devoted Mother, devout Christian, an avid quilter, and an industrious person in that she retired from three different jobs, the last being at age 86. She was a member of the Park City Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters: Mary Margaret Shirley and Faith Yvonne Berry; seven grandchildren: Christopher R. Shirley (Shelly), Kara R. Walker (Mike), Michelle Moore (Mary), Rosalea Berry, Jennifer Helton (Jeff), David Henry North, and Cathleen North; 8 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Emmons; two children: Charles Henry North and Cathy North; two sons-in-law: Glenn Shirley and James Berry; three brothers: Joe Wilson, Woodrow Wilson, and Bill Wilson.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery at Park City. Visitation will after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
