Elizabeth Ann Pursley Hood, 71, Glasgow, passed away peacefully at her residence after a two year battle with cancer. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Herman and Glondie Pace Pursley. She was a retired home healthcare giver, a member of the Glasgow Garden Club, the Barren County Homemakers Club, and the Refuge Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband Roy Wayne Hood; two step-daughters: Beverly Hood Pedigo and Teressa Hood both of Glasgow; five grandchildren: Tara Landrum and husband Grant, Tyler Pedigo, and Daniel Moffitt all of Glasgow; Tasha Cotter and husband Daniel of Lexington; Nick Peters and wife Jessica of Bowling Green; Great-Grandchild: Ellie Grace Landrum; two brothers: Ackley Pursley and wife Patricia of Mesquite, TX, and James Pursley and wife Vicky of Gallatin, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Averil Pursley.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Union #2 Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
