Beatrice Elmore Harlow, 93, formerly of Barren County, died Friday, September 27, 2013, in Louisville. The daughter of the late William and Lurty Mae Brown Chapman, she was a homemaker, and a member of the Thixton Lane Baptist Church in Louisville. She was the widow of the late Cyrus H. Harlow and a former member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Barren County.

Survivors include four children: Philip Harlow and wife Brenda of New Haven, KY; Doris Harlow Vaughan of Louisville; Douglas Harlow and wife Cheryl of Smiths Grove; Dolores Harlow Bryant and husband Gary of Shepherdsville; nine grandchildren: Timothy Harlow, Melissa Huddleston, Rusty Harlow, Vickie Propes, Ric Vaughan, Stacie Vaughan, Tracie Skaggs, Amy Jarrell, and Clint Bryant; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hazel Chapman and Leon Chapman.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
