Roberta F. Hawkins

Roberta Frances Hawkins, 75, Glasgow, died Saturday, July 06, 2013, at Glenview Health Care Center. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Jewell Dickerson and Clydean Patterson Dickerson. She retired after 32 years of service from the T. J. Samson Hospital Dietary Department, and was a member of the Bon Ayr United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two step-sons: H. C. Hawkins of Park City and Danny Hawkins of Cave City; two nieces: Tina Brown and Beth Ryan of Glasgow; one nephew: Brad Rutledge and wife Gina of Glasgow; one aunt: Evelyn L. Lyons of Bon Ayr; three cousins: Marilyn Gold, Carolyn Oliver, and Jimmy Lyons; two step-grandsons, three step-granddaughters, one step-great-granddaughter, several great nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hawkins; one sister, Gloria Rutledge; one great-niece, Taylor Brown; one nephew, Mark Ryan; one aunt, Kathryn Lockhart; one cousin, Elwood Lockhart.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery at Park City. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
