Nora Frances Button, 90, Glasgow, died Wednesday, May 01, 2013, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late Zachariah and Lena Herndon Duvall, she was a homemaker and a member of Harlow’s Chapel Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Horace Button, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Horace Button, Jr. of Glasgow, along with several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Tubbs, Katie Brown, and Mollie Boyde; and by two brothers, Paul Duvall and Judge Duvall.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Barber Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
So sorry for your loss. I remember Mrs. Button when I was a little girl at Aunt Lizzies. She was a very sweet lady. Heaven has gained another angel.
Horace, I didn’t personally know your mother, but I would guess that you and she had very similar traits. I’m sure that she was just as kind and good as you are. I know that you will miss her. She is certainly in a good place, now. Your friends, Danny, Martha, and Jamey.
