Linda V. Edwards, 69, Glasgow, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. The Barren County native was the daughter of the late Frill and Edith Short Adwell. She was a retired Administrative Assistant with the National Park Service, having retired from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and was a member of the Hiseville Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, April London and husband John of Glasgow, and Cindy Edwards-Mace and husband Dewayne of Cave City; her companion, Oliver Saltsman of Glasgow; seven grandchildren, Keith Crabtree with the U.S. Army at Ft. Bliss, TX, Colby Dale London, Autumn Rena Kuhns, Destiny Cheyenne Mace, Hunter Chase London, Brenna Makenzie Mace, and Brylee Rain Mace; one great-grandson, Brantley Dale London; one brother, Gary Wallace Adwell and wife Donna Rena of Cave City; three nephews, Chris Adwell, Jason Adwell, and Kendall Adwell.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

    I had known Linda from years before and we became facebook friends a few years ago. I am so sorry for your loss. Linda always had wonderful messages that she shared. She will be missed by many. Prayers for all of Linda’s family. She is now at home with God and Heaven has gained another angel.
