Barbara Jones Pickett, 75, Glasgow, died Thursday, December 14, 2006, at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Bertha Mae Wheeler and Willie Jones.
Survivors include one son, Barry Richard Coffey of Glasgow; three daughters, Kathy Miller of Glasgow, Gina Young and husband, Mark, of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Beth Reid of Glasgow; eight grandchildren, Andrea Jones Brooks, Dustin Jones, Brett Young, Emily Young, Stephanie Coffey Esters, Andrew Coffey, Zach Reid and Tara Reid; one great-granddaughter, Makayla Brooks; one sister, Ramona Jean Maggard of Glasgow; two brothers, Ray Jones of Bowling Green and Doug Jones of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, G. R. Coffey and Jessie Andrew Pickett; two sons-in-law, Mark Miller and Alan Reid.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2006, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
