Paudine Reece Fletcher, 95, Glasgow, died Monday, August 07, 2006, at the Glasgow Health and Rehab Center.  A native of Adair County, she was a retired seamstress at Handmacher Fashions in Glasgow and a former employee of Glasgow High School Cafeteria.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Glasgow, where she enjoyed being a part of the Primetimers Group; a former member of Glasgow Senior Citizens; and an avid fan of folk and gospel music, sewing and cooking.

Survivors include one daughter, Jean Aspley and her husband, Joe Billy, of Lexington; four grandchildren, Darrell Fletcher and Lynn Fletcher both of Columbia, Paula Aspley of Lexington, and Brad Calvert of Glasgow; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Fletcher; one son, J.W. Fletcher, and one daughter, Lottie Fletcher Calvert.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First Christian Church.
