Lydia R. Frazier, 85, Glasgow, died Monday, December 19, 2005, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.  A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late L. A. and Ruth Foster Poynter.  She was a homemaker and a member of the South Green Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Frazier and his wife, Joanna, of Elizabethtown, and James Wendell Frazier and his wife, Brenda, of Glasgow; one daughter, Jo Karen Pace of Nashville; 5 grandchildren, Melanie Bruton of High Point, NC, Leslie Claiborne of Fairview, TN, Tara Jo Nash of Glasgow, Brandon Pace of Brooklyn, NY, and Jamie Frazier of Glasgow; one brother, Tommy Poynter; one sister, Betty Lou Hurt; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Frazier; one brother, Alvin Poynter; one sister, Earlene Whitlow.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
