Veachel Wayne “Train” Cloyd, 67, Scottsville, died Saturday, August 6, 2005, at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital.  A native of Monroe County, he was a son of the late Mertie Eurene Casteel and Willie Turner Cloyd.  He was a member of the class of 1955 of Glasgow High School that had just had their 50th reunion.  He was a member of the 1955 Glasgow Scottie Basketball Team that went to state, an avid golfer and motorcyclist.

Survivors include his step-mother, Ruby Cloyd of Glasgow; two daughters, Marla Wood of Glasgow and Lisa Enfinger of Alabama; 5 grandchildren, Nick Wood, Tim Wood, Ashton, Krisa and Lillian Enfinger; one brother, Mitchell Cloyd of Glasgow; one step-sister, Judy Dugger of Glasgow; several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Monroe County.  Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
