Vada Norville, daughter of the late John Jefferson and Vinnie Leal Milligan, died Friday, July 2, 2004 , at her home in Glasgow . She was a native of Trenton , TN , but had lived in Glasgow since 1947 with her late husband, Weldon Norville. Upon Weldon’s death in 1999, they had been happily married for 56 years.

In addition to being a wife and mother, Vada was also a successful business woman. She had been a Senior Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics for 28 years, during which time she attained the National Court of Sales for 11 consecutive years and achieved Queen in the National Court of Sales in 1981. Vada also earned 12 career cars and led her unit (Vada’s Angels) to National recognition. Vada was also a member of the Altrusa Club and an active member of the Callie Beals Circle and the Golden Rule Sunday School Class of First Christian Church in Glasgow .

She leaves many beautiful memories to be cherished by her one daughter, Patty Webster and her husband, George, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two sons, Michael Norville of Louisville and Jeff Norville and his wife, Amy, of Marianna, FL; six grandchildren, Bryon Webster, Eric Webster, Shawn Webster, Kohl Norville, Matthew Norville and Ashley Norville; one sister, Martha McKelvy of Martin, TN; one brother, Marvin Milligan of Trenton, TN.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2004 , at the First Christian Church. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2004 , at the Norville Cemetery in Alamo , TN. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time for services at the Ronk Funeral Home in Alamo .
