Woodrow Wilson Smith Jr., 80, of Glasgow, died Friday, September 19, 2014 at the NHC Nursing Facility. He was a son of the late Woodrow Smith Sr., and Maymie Katherine Dooley. He was a Deacon of the Siloam Baptist Church and an army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by two sons: Kevin Smith and his wife Gloria and Randy Smith; six grandchildren: Angelia Smith, Amy Smith, Michelle Smith, Kimberly Smith, Mason Smith and Trace Smith; two brothers: Jimmy Lee Smith and his wife Vickie and Terrell Smith and his wife Michelle; three sisters: Loretta Wood and her husband Russell, Virginia Kingrey and Shirley Henry and her husband Jack; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Juanita Dodson Smith; two sons: Marty Lynn Smith and Woodrow Bryant Smith; four brothers and one sister.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
