Willie Joe Adwell

     Willie Adwell 83, Glasgow, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026 suddenly at TJ Samson Hospital. He was the son of the late Veachel Adwell and Lula Mae Martin Adwell.

     He is survived by his loving Wife of 64 years, Peggy Denton Adwell. His little dog Snowball.  Special Friend Cindy Smith; Seven brothers: Howard Adwell (Linda), Larry Adwell (Doris), Doug Adwell (Robin), Veachel Adwell (Donna) , Terry Adwell (Allison), Jerry Adwell (Paula) and Bruce Adwell (Lisa). Two sisters: Carolyn Perkins (Donnie), Margaret Kinslow. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

     In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers Haskel “Hack” Adwell and Paul Adwell; Sister Sandra Burris.

     Funeral Services will be 11:00 Monday, September 28, 2026 at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Bon ayr Cemetery. Visitation will 4:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday and after 8:00am Monday until the time of service.
