William R. Whittom 63, of Glasgow, Ky. passed away May 13, 2025 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

The Naylor, Mo. native was a publisher for Whittom Publishing Company as well as a published author. He was also an Army National Guard veteran, an avid motorcycle rider, a member of the Patriot Patrol, and a member of the Barren River Rod and Gun Club. He liked to travel in his R.V. and camp, and was also a Skywarn Storm Spotter and member of the Amateur Ham Radio Emergency Service. He was an avid talker to all his family and friends. He was a loyal member of his Church of God congregation and a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Rose Calvert Whittom and, in 2016, by his loving wife Sharon Elaine Whittom.

Survivors include: sisters Phyllis Middleton, Donna Coffey, and Rose Taylor-(S.T.) and brother Charles Whittom-(late Young) and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Saturday May 17, 2025 at 3:00 at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery, with visitation from 11:00 A.M. until 2:45 P.M. at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in order to help with funeral expenses and can be made at the funeral home.
