William David McKinney, 71, Cave City, died Friday, October 28, 2011, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Alliance, Nebraska, he was a son of the late William H. and Blanche Hudson McKinney. A former resident of Hammond, IN, he was a retired plant superintendent for H. R. D. in Chicago, a 10 year member of the United States Marine Corps, and a Vietnam Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Paule; two sons, William (Lisa) McKinney and Michael McKinney; three step-daughters, Kim (John) Woods, Kellie Cales (Jason Krachinski) and Kerrie (Allen) Zukley; 7 grandchildren, David, Hollie, Jonathan, Andrew, Hunter, Evan, and Hannah; three sisters, Margie Cassidy, Betty (Bob) Walker, and Eloise Adamson; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald McKinney and Kenneth McKinney; and two brothers-in-law, Richard Cassidy and Hap Adamson.
The family chose cremation. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
