David Burris

William David Burris, 63, of Glasgow, KY passed away Monday, August 17, 2026 at his home. David was retired from Barren County High School where he worked as Custodian for 33 years. He also worked in his lawnmower shop for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rose Burris of Glasgow. He is also survived by a sister, Glenda Pace of Glasgow, and a brother, Mitchell Burris (Becky) of Glasgow, KY; brother-in-laws, Paul Bragg (Connie) and Charles Reed (Phyllis). Several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Burris was proceeded in death by his parents, Herman and Dee Burris; one sister, Brenda Bragg, and one brother, Danny Burris; two brother-in-laws, Roger Bragg and Faron Pace all of Glasgow.

Funeral will be 12:00 p.m. noon Thursday, August 20, 2026 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Bragg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time for services.
