William Nathan Bartley

William Nathan Bartley, 46, Glasgow, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026 at the UK-Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. A native of Barren County, he was the son of Abbie Miller Bartley Jennings and the late William Ralph Bartley.

During his working career, Nathan was an insurance agent with Monumental Life Insurance Company. He was one who loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was also a fan of all kinds of music.

Survivors include one son, Gavin Bartley (Emma) of Scottsville; one daughter, Jailyn Bartley (Landon Miller) of Glasgow; and his mother, Abbie Jennings (James) of Glasgow.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 noon Thursday at the funeral home.
