R. Wayne Hutchinson passed from this world to heaven due to Parkinson’s complications on November 8, 2022 at TJ Samson. He was surrounded by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, his sisters and other family members and is now dancing in the presence of Jesus.
Wayne was born June 1, 1962 and was preceded in death by his parents: Delbert and Ruby Hutchinson and an older brother, Ronnie Hutchinson.
He was a devoted husband to his wife of nearly 40 years. Debbie was the love of his life. A supportive brother, uncle and friend. He lived to tell people about Jesus. He was a family man who took great care, pride and love in his sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Wayne is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years Deborah Ann (Strange) Hutchinson: four sisters: Kathy Hutchinson of Flatwoods, KY, Carol (Scott) Smith-Glasgow, KY, Susie (Bill) Osborn, Glasgow, KY, Mary (Greg) Thompson, Finchville, KY and an honorary sister Angela (Brian) Butler, Smith Grove, KY. and goddaughter Tanya Perkins, Campbellsville, KY. Wayne had five nieces, eleven nephews and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews who brought him great joy.
He was a member of Glenview Christian Church for 28 years where he served as elder, taught Sunday School and was a member of the praise team for many years. He was loved by many and will be missed greatly. We won’t say goodbye: we’ll say see you later.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Monday, November 14, 2022 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 am Monday until time for services at the funeral home.
