Wanda Jean Wooten, 77, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital surrounded by her family. She was a daughter of the late William Basil Clark and Mary Edna Turner Clark.
She is survived by six children: Edith Gail Webb (Charles), Billy Ray Wooten, Jeffrey Neal Wooten (Donna), James Wooten, Kimberly Marie Jackson (Ronnie) and Melissa Dawn Smith (Hurley); nine grandchildren: Preston Wooten, Catlin Brook Carter, Christopher Glen Wooten, Rebekah Leann Wooten, Matthew Aaron Jackson, Brittany Renee Hogan, Rachael Heggerich, Savannah Shey Wooten and Olivia Grace Smith; four great-grandchildren: Desmond Ray Wooten, Elliott Wooten, Charlie Wooten and Hudson Poe; personal special mention: Ashley Brown; one brother: William Basil Clark, Jr.; one sister: Mary Lois Reece.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister: Brenda Joyce Nunn.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday and after 10:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home until time for services.
