Virgie Neeley

Virgie Lee Neeley, 77, Glasgow , died Thursday, April 22, 2004 , at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Burley and Hallie Jump Neeley. She was a retired co-owner of Gene’s Dress Shop in Glasgow and a member of the Glenview Christian Church, where she taught a Sunday School Class for a number of years.
Survivors include three sisters, Elizabeth Proffitt of Glasgow, Nell Anderson of Milford, Ohio, and Burla Neeley of Hawesville, KY; one niece, Anna Edwards and her husband, Robert, of Glasgow; one nephew, John W. Snow of Muncie; one great-niece, Jennifer Edwards Banks, and one great-nephew, Jeffrey Edwards, both of Bowling Green; a special friend, for whom she had cared since infancy, Brandon Nelson, of Glasgow.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Snow, and a brother, Samuel Wallen Neeley.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2004 , at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery . At Ms. Neeley’s request, there will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
