Vanessa Gail Fields Howell, 68 of Glasgow went to her Heavenly home on Saturday April 22, 2023 after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Marvin and Ruby Wilson Fields.
Vanessa attended Glasgow Bible Church until she became too ill to attend. While at home in 2022 she gave her life to the Lord and got saved. She retired from R R Donnelley & Sons of Glasgow. She loved UK Basketball and the Atlanta Braves.
Vanessa is survived by one brother Donald Wayne Fields (Brenda) of Ohio; one grandson Nathan Hood of Glasgow; two nephews and one niece.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving son Joey Howell; her maternal grandparents Clifton and Kizzie Wilson; her paternal grandparents Welby and Bessie Fields; and her sister to whom she was very close, Connie Berry.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are welcome to attend. There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
