Tommy Wilbur White, 80, Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at home surrounded by those who loved and cared for him deeply. A native of Pikeville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Ivanhoe and Ollie Dismon White. He was a retired logger.

Tommy is survived by his wife Tammy; daughter Melinda Grubb (Frankie); special granddaughter, Courtney Deckard (Morgan); his pride and joy, Rowan and Norah Deckard; his caretakers who were more like daughters: Whitney and Ashley Perkins; a caretaker Keri Burton; other children: Allen and Mark White, and Carlene Pyles and family; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Bryon Joe Ballard; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
