Tommy Greever, 72, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on August 5, 2026. Born to the late William and Sarah Greever, Tommy lived a life defined by hard work, deep love for his family, and a heart that found joy in life's simple moments. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Tommy dedicated much of his working life to Barren River Lake, where he spent 25 years at the State Dock Marina and later at Sawyers Landing (Peninsula) Marina. He later worked as a forklift operator for J.L. French before retiring.

Above all else, Tommy loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest happiness came from spending time with those he loved most. Known as "Grands" and "Pa," he made countless memories riding bikes with his grandchildren, taking them for rides on his lawnmower, and making special trips to the gas station for snacks whenever he had the chance.

Tommy also enjoyed country music, old westerns, and sci-fi movies. He never turned down a plate of teriyaki chicken, took pride in keeping his truck spotless, and was always ready with a can of spray paint for just about anything. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love he gave will continue to live on through each member of his family.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Darleen Greever; his two sons, Brad Greever (Marilyn) and Brian Greever (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Michael Taylor (Christiana), Blake Taylor, Tyler Jenkins (Brandy), Cassie Kingrey, Jacob Taylor (Cortney), Elisabeth Robbins (Trevor), Xander Greever, and Noah Greever; his great-grandchildren, Lilah Kingrey, Eleanor Taylor, Olive Kingrey, and Edison Taylor; his brother, Jimmy Greever (Lisa); his sisters, Linda Martin, Brenda Hiser (Robert), and Patty Harrison (Dave); as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, William and Sarah Greever, Tommy was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Greever; his brothers, William Greever and Paul Greever; and his brother-in-law, Danny Martin.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in God's promise:

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." — Revelation 21:4

In keeping with Tommy’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
