Thelma Christine Williams, 91, Glasgow, died Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the T J Samson Community Hospital. A native of Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Bud Melton and Roxie Myrtle Horton Melton. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for George B. Williams Construction; an avid bowler; and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she had also been a member of the choir.
Survivors include three sons: Greg Williams, Mike Williams, and Eric Williams all of Glasgow; three grandchildren: Ben Williams, Samantha Williams, and Matt Williams; one sister, Louise Craine of Cave City; one brother, Calvin Melton of Cave City; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George B. Williams, Jr.; two sisters: Ruby Chapman and Dorothy; and one brother, Bobby Melton.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Neal’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:30 Saturday at the cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
