Terry Shipley

Terry Douglas Shipley, 50, Hiseville, died Saturday, February 07, 2009, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a cabinet maker for Square Deal Lumber Co. and a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Franklin Shipley; one daughter, Amber Shipley of Glasgow; two step-sons, T. J. Garmon of Owensboro and Wayne Garmon of Glasgow; 4 step-grandchildren, Haylee, Kristen, Lindsey and Nicholas Garmon; his father and step-mother, Don and Helen Shipley of Glasgow; one sister, Glenda Spillman and husband, Charlie, of Brownsville; two half-brothers, Huston Shipley and wife, Sherry, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Allen DeShields and wife Peggy, of Clarksville, TN; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and LaVerne Franklin of Knob Lick; sister-in-law, Linda Martin of Glasgow.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Jean Duvall Shipley.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2009, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
