Terry Leigh Forbis

Terry Leigh Forbis, 69, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. A native of Jefferson County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Margaret James Brock.

Terry was technically classified as a homemaker; but she was more. She was the definition of Mom and Grandmother. She was also a decorator who could make “a silk purse out of a sow’s ear” when it came to houses. She was also an animal lover; especially a lover of dogs.

Survivors include her husband Gary Forbis; one son, Jammie Forbis and his wife Tricia of Shepherdsville; one daughter, Kristy Wimsatt of Glasgow; four grandchildren: Allie, Jenna, Dereck, and Emily.

The family is honoring her wishes to be cremated. There will be a memorial gathering of family and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
