Tempest Estes England, 81, of Glasgow, died Thursday, May 07, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Moat and Grace Compton Estes. She was a retired LPN. She worked at Howard Clinic from the mid 1950’s until its closing, at which time she became an avid volunteer with the Ladies Auxillary at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.
Survivors include one son, Gary Blaine England and his wife, Kathleen W. England of Glasgow; three grandsons, Jarred Blaine England, Dylan Edwin England and Gary Alexander England; her sister-in-law, Sheila Estes; one nephew, Steve Estes; one niece, Glenda Harris; three great-nieces; one great-nephew; one great-great niece.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2009, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home.
