Sylvia Bowles
April 18, 1931 ~ June 3, 2002
Sylvia Bowles, 71, Glasgow, died Monday at her residence. A daughter of the late Fred T. and Aline Hatcher Bowles, she was a retired employee of Handmacher Fashions and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Glasgow.
She is survived by a brother, David Bowles of Louisville; a nephew, Philip David Bowles of San Diego, California; two great-nieces, Tressa Smith and Emily Bowles of San Diego; one great-nephew, Colin Bowles of Norfolk, Virginia; one great-great-nephew, Mason Quinn Smith of San Diego; several cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
