Steven Hascal Bush, 53, of Rineyville died Wednesday December 11, 2013 at his residence. He was a native of Glasgow, KY, a member of First Christian Church in Glasgow; and a member of the Kentucky Racing Commission where he raised thoroughbreds.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Bertram Bush.
He is survived by his wife of 1 year, Cindy Dean Bush; son, Steven Jacob Bush of Elizabethtown; father, Dennis Reid Bush of Glasgow; brother, Michael Bush and wife Karen of Tracy; sisters, Kay Bush and Sue Ellen Muse and husband Joe, all of Glasgow, and Lesley Bush Cagle and husband Todd of Chester, VA; step-son, Shelby Dean Tyler of Harrodsburg; and step-daughter, Amber Joann Tyler of Harrodsburg; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home, Elizabethtown, with Bro. Doug Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and continue after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
