Shirley Faye Williams Coots, 78, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Malcolm Everett ”Mike” Williams and Florence Edna Powell Williams. She was a LPN and was also retired from R. R. Donnelley’s. She love to read and cook for her family, friends and coworkers.
She is survived by four children: Stacey Hunt (Steven), Amanda Coats (Memory), Benjamin Coots and Nathan Coots (Savannah) all of Glasgow; four grandchildren: Katosha Jessie (Adam), Jessica Burris (Zack), Travis Hunt and Jaden Shirley; two great-grandchildren: Nash Jessie and Maci Kate Burris; one great-grandchild on the way: Haylin Grace Burris; one sister: Judy Cherry (George); one nephew: Eric Cherry (Dawn); life long friend: Judy Carney; her dog: Foxy.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
