September A. Higgason, 63, Glasgow, died Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Born in Biloxi, MS, she was the daughter of the late Shirley Wilson Higgason and Willadeen Proffitt Higgason who survives.
September was a dedicated caregiver. She was a lover of the arts who enjoyed painting and writing. She was also a member of the Highland Hills Community Church.
In addition to her mother Willadeen Higgason, she is survived by three sons: Joshua Donelson (Kyla) and Matthew Donelson (Danielle) all of Adrian, Michigan, and Dakota Stepp of Nashville; three grandchildren: Rylynn Donelson, Jayden Holly, and Lillian Donelson; one sister, Alanna Foster of Glasgow; seven nieces and nephews; eleven great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother Duke Alton Higgason.
The family is honoring September’s wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30 at the Highland Hills Community Church. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
