Sandra M. “Mikki” York, 48, Glasgow, died Sunday, January 27, 2008, at her residence. She was a daughter of Darrell and Janice Hancock Matthews of Glasgow, a homemaker and a member of Living Word Ministries Church in Burkesville.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Jessie M. York; one daughter, Deanie Heers and husband, David, of Glasgow; one son, Matthew Dean Ballinger and wife, Camiel, of Park City; four grandchildren, Rylan Heers, Autumn Cleveland, Ashtyn Ballinger and Aden Ballinger; one sister, Marla Bryant and husband, Ricky, of Glasgow; one niece, Terra Vincent; one nephew, Ethan Bryant; special friends, Jerry and Brenda Anderson of Burkesville; several aunts and uncles, including Joyce Hancock of Glasgow.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
