Ruthie Kaye Moore, 64, Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at NHC Health Care Center. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Roger Lewis Bush and Nada Magdeline Brooks Bush. Ruthie was a former employee of Sitel in Glasgow who loved gardening and tending her flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Moore, Sr.
Survivors include three children: Donna Baker of Florida, Melvin Moore, Jr. (Bernice) of Glasgow, and Rebecca Thomas (Jacob) of South Carolina; two grandchildren: Leah Moore and Malia Baker; two brothers: Allen Bush and Tim Bush (Tracy); five sisters: Mary Ashley (Ray), Rita Horton (James), Sharon Sturgeon, Jeanette Bush, and Sherry Neal (Happy); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
