Ruth C. Jones

Mary Ruth Chenault Jones, 88, Glasgow, died Saturday, January 19, 2008, at the NHC Health Care Center. A daughter of the late Jessie Wells and Esta Ray Chenault, she was a retired bookkeeper for F. P. Williams Furniture Co. and a member of the East Main United Methodist Church. She was the widow of the late Morrison Jones.
Survivors include two half-brothers, Richard Chenault of Taylorsville and James Chenault of Louisville; a niece, Jerri Harlow of Glasgow; along with several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2008, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Burkesville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the East Main United Methodist Church.
