Russell Engler, 72, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at his residence. He was a son of the late Perry Russell and Gwendolyn Peek Engler. Russell enjoyed reading his Bible and watching the Kentucky Wildcats play basketball. He was a veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Gail Engler; one daughter: Amy Morris and her husband William; three grandchildren: Lily Barry, Tyler Barry and Alexia Barry; three brothers: Hershel Engler, Richard Engler and Jess Engler all of Eddyville, Kentucky. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery and Chapter 20 DAV providing honor guard. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
