Ruby Wells

Margaret Ruby Wells, 86, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Fairbury, Illinois, the daughter of the late Hascal Fish and Olethia Ferguson Fish. She was the widow of the late Carlos Wells. Mrs. Wells was a retired hairdresser and a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Margie Carder of Glasgow; a sister-in-law, Mary Frances Fish of Glasgow; three nieces, Judy Davis (Joey) of Brentwood, TN, Bunny Wells of Glasgow, and Lougene Sims (Joe Lane) of Gallatin, TN; one nephew, Lewis Ray Wells of Glasgow; one great niece, Alissa McDonough (Mike) of Canton, GA.; one great nephew, Jay Davis of Boston, MA.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Leslie Fish and one brother-in-law, Marshall Carder.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
