Ruby Frances Taylor, 82, Edmonton Road, Glasgow, died Monday at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Giles County, TN, she was a daughter of the late Roy W. and Mary Jones Dickson. She was a retired Registered Nurse at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital , a member of the Retired Nurses Association of Glasgow and a member of the Columbia Avenue Church of Christ .

Survivors include one son, Howard Taylor and his wife, Jerry Kaye of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Brian, Emily and Micah Taylor and Amy Edwards; two step-grandchildren, Tracy McBrayer and Scott Firkins; two step-great-grandchildren, Anne Claire McBrayer and Ashton McBrayer; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Peden of Glasgow and Lavada Ard of Tucson, AZ; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Taylor and a daughter, Barbara Edwards.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Neals Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Potter Children’s Home , 2350 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101 or to the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library in Glasgow.
