Rosie Nell Armstrong, 94, Glasgow, died Wednesday, January 04, 2006, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Nancy Ellen Cary Bull. An avid gardener, she was a homemaker and a member of the Scottsville Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Button and her husband, Freddie, of Glasgow; one granddaughter, Kari Button of Glasgow; one sister-in-law, Orthie Bulle of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Bedford Armstrong; an infant son, Willie Edsel Armstrong; two sisters, Hattie Anderson and Annie Huddleston; five brothers, Clarence, Willie, Arnie, Jim and Clay Armstrong.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2006, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
