Robert Ramey

Robert H. Ramey, 72, Coral Hill-Halfway Road, Glasgow, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at his residence. A son of the late George W. and Julia Davis Ramey, he was a retired farmer and veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include a brother, Roscoe Ramey and wife, Margaret of Cave City; three sisters, Alison Harris and husband, Richard of Florida; Emogene Word and husband Moody of Summer Shade and Frances Beasley and husband Wayne of North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Mildred Ramey of Cave City. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lavonne; four brothers, Leon, Rondall, Kenneth and Joe Ramey.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
