Richard “Rich” Wayne Lutterman, age 58, of Glasgow, KY, went to be with our Lord on March 20, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. Rich was born October 8, 1967 in Louisville, KY. Rich was the son of Annie Belle Moock, of Louisville, KY and the late Roger Glenn Lutterman, of Glasgow, KY.
Rich graduated from Moore High School in Louisville, KY in 1986. Rich was a plumber by trade and an auto mechanic. Rich spent his life as a kind and generous man, who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Known for his heart of gold, he would give you the shirt off his back and his last piece of bread, without hesitation. His door was always open to anyone in need. He embodied the spirit of selflessness that touched everyone that knew him.
As a proud Baptist, Rich was baptized on January 19, 2026, at his home by his cousin Pastor Nathan Lutterman. Rich's faith was an important part of his life that brought him comfort during his final days. He was also a member of AMVETS, Post 61.
Rich had a deep love for the Kentucky Wildcats and enjoyed cheering them on with a passion. He also enjoyed playing pool in the game room above his garage; a space that brought him countless days of fun. His beloved cat, Dicky Doo #2 “Kiki”, was a constant companion and source of comfort for him.
Rich was preceded in death by his father, Roger Glenn Lutterman and step-father, Lawrence George “Larry” Moock, and his beloved dog Blue.
Rich is survived by his devoted mother Annie Belle Moock, sister, Carol Close (John), two brothers Darrell Lutterman (Beth), Eddie Lutterman, half-brother Matt Moock, all of Louisville, Ky. two nephews, Josh Close (Dena) of Radcliff, KY and Jason Close (Micki) of Louisville, KY; two nieces, Amanda Walker (Josh) of Ramsey, IN and Olivia Close of Louisville, KY.
In his last few months, Rich was lovingly cared for at his home by his mother Annie and his sister Carol; a testament to the close family bond they shared.
Rich's generosity, warm heart, and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed by those who knew him. May Rich's memory comfort those he leaves behind.
Funeral services will be held 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
