Penny Bernice Chapman, 62, Glasgow, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024 at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Jack Ernest Nifong and Jo Ann Clark Nifong. She was a homemaker and a member of the Green Meadow Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Charles “Buck” Chapman; three children: Richard Chapman, Jonathan Chapman, and Kimberly Chapman Logsdon (Steven Pillow); five grandchildren: Joshua Lee Rigdon, Nicholas Trent Logsdon, Brantley Gage Logsdon, Jaydon Matthew Logsdon, and Raven Cheyenne Pillow; two brothers: Rick Nifong of Newport, KY and Jackie Glynn Nifong of Carthage, TN; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Cathy Lynn Tarry; one brother, James Ernest Nifong; and her mother-in-law, Edna Chapman.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
