Orville Reece
January 10, 1933 ~ January 18, 2004
Bro. Orville Reece, 71, Dugantown Estates, Glasgow, died Sunday, January 18, 2004 , at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital . A son of the late Vergie Ferguson and John Owen Reece, he was a dairy farmer and a minister, having pastored several churches in the area. He was a member of the Grider Memorial Baptist Church .
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Reece; two sons, Raymond Reece and Darrell Reece, and his wife, Cathy, of Knob Lick; one daughter, Sharron Jones and her husband, Ronnie, of Edmonton; one half sister, Earnestine Greer of Bowling Green; three step-children, Margaret Ann (Tommy) Hagan, Bobby (Shirley) Steenbergen , and Stacy (Ed) Pearson all of Nicholasville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
