She leaves behind three children: Linda Saltsman and her husband Jimmy, Jessie Pedigo and his wife Debbie, and Rita Thomas. Nettie's legacy continues through her eight grandchildren: Tony Saltsman and his wife Angie, Stevie Pedigo, Brian Pedigo and his wife Christie, Kevin Pedigo and his wife Venus, Kurston Mathis, Lori Thomas, Jeremy Thomas and his wife Amy, and Christa Thomas. She was also blessed with several great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward.
Nettie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin Wayne Pedigo, her beloved grandson, Scottie Saltsman, as well as eight siblings: Lucille Crumpton, Sylvia Coffey, Geneva Morgan, Janette Harrington, Marvin Shockley, Jewell Pickett, John William Shockley, and Eula M. Shockley. Their memories remain cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service celebrating Nettie’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Thursday starting at 9:00 AM until the time of the service. She will be remembered not only for her devotion to family and faith but also for the warmth and kindness she shared with everyone who crossed her path.
