Nelda Irene “Pepie” Thomas

Irene “Pepie” Thomas, 62, North Race Street, Glasgow, died Tuesday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late Cordell and Amy Gravens Riddle, she was a homemaker and a member of the Brotherhood Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas; three children, Douglas R. Thomas, Donna Harbison and her husband, Chris, and Roger Thomas all of Glasgow; five granddaughters, Peaches Pennycuff, Amber Westmoreland, Megan Thomas, Brittany Carney and Lindsey Thomas; two step-granddaughters, Lindsey Harbison and Jessica Harbison; three great-grandchildren, Ethan Pennycuff, Brooklyn Pennycuff and Logan Westmoreland; three brothers, Frankie Riddle and Buck Riddle of Glasgow, and Billy Reid Riddle of Huntsville, AL.; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Rhonda Owens Thomas.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
