Nancy Johnson Brown

Nancy Johnson Brown, 94, Cave City, died Friday, April 1, 2005, at the NHC Healthcare Center. A native of Taylor County, she was a daughter of the late Rev. N. A. Johnson and Sarah Martin Johnson. She was a homemaker and long-time member of Salem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brown is survived by two sons, Jesse R. Brown and wife, Bernice, of Glasgow, and Allen B. Brown and wife, Zona, of Cave City; four grandchildren, Sam Brown and wife, Laura, of Glasgow, Keith Brown and wife, Tina, of Cave City, Jeanelle McGuire and husband, Jeff, of Glasgow, and Kim Overstreet and husband, Mark, of Lexington; special friends, Roger and Dan Leischer of Watertown, Wisconsin; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse M. Brown, a great-granddaughter, five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Sunday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Kosair Charities or the National SIDS Foundation.
