Myrtie Christy

Myrtie Christy, 88 of Columbia, died Monday, July 16, 2007 at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late James and Fannie Elmore Baldock and a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Barnes of Columbia, Carolyn Cowles and husband Thomas of Edmonson County, and Janetta Chapman and husband Roy of Glasgow. One brother, Loyd Baldock of Louisville. Two sisters, Edith Chism of Glasgow and Lena Emerson of Bon Ayr. Eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In Addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Floyd and one brother Clifton Baldock.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Warren County. Friends may call after 3:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home
