Mildred "Mitchie" Irene Brooks

Mildred Irene “Mitchie” Brooks, 72, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away at home surrounded by her family Saturday, May 31, 2025. She was a daughter of the late Orville and Clara Mae Decker Smith. She was a loving wife, mother and Nana.

She is survived by her husband: Garry R. Brooks; one daughter: Lori and Terry Gray; one son: Greg and Kathy Brooks; six grandchildren: Cody Gray, Paige Gray, Ryan and Chaley Brooks, Matthew and McKenzie Gray, Josh Brooks (Gentry Gray) and Logan Brooks; six great-grandchildren: Reagan Theppharaksa, Bentley Gray, Annzley Brooks, Sawyer Gray, Kyler Brooks and Racelynn Brooks; one sister: Putchie Garmon; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters: Darlene (Gary) Medley, Ann (Jerry) Jackson and Louise Smith. Her loving dog Roxy.

Funeral will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 am Tuesday until time for services.
