Melody Elizabeth Creech

Melody Elizabeth Creech, 73, Glasgow, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the T J Samson Community Hospital. A native of Cincinnati, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marva Reiman Rees. She was the widow of the late Alvin Creech.

Mrs. Creech was a retired deaf interpreter in the Ohio public school systems. She enjoyed travelling; attending stage plays and musicals; and caring for her dogs.

Survivors include two children: Chad Creech and his wife Belinda of Campbellsville, and Carrie Gaddis and her husband Mitch of Glasgow; two grandchildren: Kai and CeeCee Creech; two sisters: Teresa Osborne-Sehee and Michele Marratta both of Dayton, Ohio; one aunt, Donna Sumner and husband Donald of Florida; two cousins, Kathy Hall of Cincinnati and Kim Bucklin of Florida; along with several other friends and family members.

The family honored her wish to be cremated. A private Celebration of Life will be planned in the future. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Gideons International. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
