Mary Maxine Garmon Allen, 86, of Glasgow, died Sunday, December 2, 2007 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Elisse Kinnaird Garmon. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Her husband Stanley Allen preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son: Robert Allen and his wife Dianne; two grandchildren: Alicia Allen and her husband Jeff and James Robert Allen and his wife Amy and two great-grandchildren all of Glasgow.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one sister: Ellen Smith; three brothers: Valiant Garmon, Earl Garmon and Joe Garmon; her stepmother: Ethel Garmon; two stepbrothers; Ancel Turner and Willie Turner.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
