Mary Elizabeth Ross

Mary Elizabeth Ross, 95, Hiseville, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the NHC Healthcare Center. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Sabina Meeks Parrish Miller and Powell Parrish and her step-mother Eugenia Parrish.

Mary Elizabeth was a dedicated homemaker and a member of the Hiseville Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons: Mike Ross and David Ross and his wife Shirley; a daughter-in-law, Sandy Ross; six grandchildren: Adam Ross and his fiancée Sarah Patrick, T J Ross and his fiancée Kristen Smith, Kylie Ross, Terri Ward, Eddie Ross and his wife Gina, and Tracie Ross; two step-grandchildren: C David Jones and his wife Kim, and Corey Jones and his wife P J; eight great-grandchildren: Brayden Ross, Kaiden Ross, Brycen Ross, Ryleigh Ross, Nora Ross, Annalie Pedigo, Campbell Ross, and Elaine Ross; two step-great-grandchildren: Jacob Jones and Marlee Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Combs Ross; one son, Dennis Ross; and two half-sisters, Virginia Lee and Nancy.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time for services at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
